Beginner-friendly? definitely

Stark basslines, diluted vocal chops and reflective twilight atmospheres are, in true Cloudnone fashion, the essence of "REBIRTH".

The good: This is a quintessential Cloudnone project. Everything is well spaced, well placed, well traced by simple synth runs that echo across his minimal basslines. Nothing needs to be elaborately designed here, and nothing really is — "REBIRTH" is primarily a work of songwriting and mood. And yet, Cloudnone fits the pieces together well, and completes the puzzle with clean garage beatwork and immaculate mixing.

The bad: The puzzle isn't large enough. At just three tracks — totalling to eleven minutes — of runtime, "REBIRTH" is not nearly long enough to maintain its atmosphere, feeling more like a fleeting dream rather than a prolonged introspection. And somehow, despite only having two tracks around it, "4u" still manages to feel repetitive.
